STEAK EDUCATION
For over 50 years, we’ve been perfecting the art of grilling steaks, ensuring each cut is aged for maximum tenderness, seasoned with our signature Keg spices, and cooked to perfection every time. Explore the range of premium steak cuts on our menu and discover the quality that has made us a legend in steak dining.
KEG PRIME RIB
Slow-roasted for 6-8 hours, The Keg’s Prime Rib is the standout star of our steak menu. Known for its rich marbling and juicy tenderness, our Prime Rib is cooked to a perfect medium-rare, though we can prepare it to your preferred level of doneness. With its ideal balance of flavor and tenderness, The Keg’s Prime Rib guarantees a truly indulgent dining experience.
THE KEG SIRILOIN
The Keg Sirloin is renowned for its juicy, flavourful taste, with careful attention given to each cut. We expertly break down the sirloin muscle into different segments to enhance the overall eating experience. Available in 6, 8, and 12 oz sizes, as well as the thick 12 oz Baseball Sirloin, so thick it’s only cooked to medium rare. The Keg Sirloin delivers a satisfying, tender steak every time.
Filet
The most tender and lean of all the steaks, every filet is centre cut and wrapped in our smoked bacon to ensure maximum flavour. The filet comes from the least hardworking muscle, which gives it that wonderful texture that many guests love.
KEG STRIPLOIN
Often referred to as the “king of steaks,” the New York Striploin combines incredible flavour and tenderness for the perfect steak experience. The Keg ensures each New York steak is cut to a minimum thickness, delivering a juicy, well-marbled, and flavourful steak every time. With its rich taste and texture, the New York Striploin offers a steak experience you won’t forget!
KEG RIB STEAK
The Rib Steak is the largest and most impressive cut on The Keg menu. Sourced from the same muscle as our renowned Prime Rib, this 20 oz. Bone-in steak offers two distinct parts: 1) The “eye” the center of the steak, delivering a juicy and flavourful experience, and 2) The “spinalis” a smaller, well-marbled muscle around the eye, known for its rich, succulent flavour. A true steak lover’s dream!
